Brewing beer not (wine) - the glass carboy is 5 gallon
What is the best way to utilize (boil) all or some, of 10 lbs (Breiss) liquid malt extract in a 3 gallon pot. I have heard you should not use more than 2 & 1/2
lbs. of LME per gallon of water.
Should I wait until flame off, to add enough LME to re-top to 3 gallons ? Is it at all possible to utilize all 10 lbs. ?

Cheers

I've never done ten pounds but I did put 9 in a tripel once just use 3 or so at the beginning and ad the rest at flameout.
