I am doing a 1 gallon test batch of beer and have never bottle primed before. Always keg my beer. I was wondering how much cane sugar I should put in a 1 litre bottle? And should I just put the granulated sugar in or mix with boiled water?

Definitely mix the sugar in with a small amount of boiling/hot water. Put the sugar mix in your bottling bucket and transfer beer on top of that. As for how much sugar, what type of beer is it?

It's a farmhouse ale with wild yeast, that I cultured from wild grapes. I don't know what the yeast is or how it will carbonate. I don't want any bottle bombs so I want to play it safe until I know how it will carb. This is a test so I'm not going for perfection just want drinkable [emoji106]
