I know there is a dedicated thread for both so sorry if this should go in one of the either.

I have quite a few of the pre-Coopers Mr Beer Refills, but I have no desire to use them in the MB 2.25G fermenters. What I would like to do is use them in 1G batches. Does anyone see anything wrong with just using the whole Mr Beer can in a one gallon batch?

In my readings here, I am not seeing anything wrong with it because all its going to do is make a more potent beer, which is what I want to go for in the first place.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

How big is the can of malt extract?

If you only increase the malt, it can lead to an unbalanced beer for the style. Whether it ends up good or bad can depend on many factors. You could always get a 3 gallon carboy and keep everything the same or a 2 gallon fermenting bucket and slightly cut back on final volume.
