Hello gents and ladies,

I have a 1/4 Tailpiece and my friend suggested it for the kegerator im building. I also purchased clear 3/16 x 7/16 clear PVC tubing and I also have 3/8 x 5/8 size of same tubing.

I was planning on clamping it down but I am not sure if the 1/4 tailpiece is too small. Any advice on this?

It's pretty standard to use 3/16" tubing on 1/4" barbs. Just dunk the tubing in some hot water and it'll stretch right over the barb.

Yep, as zachattack said, 3/16 is what most people use at home on keg setups. You probably won't even need to clamp it.
