This may sound like a stupid question but I a building a keezer and my buddy that works in co2 carbonation just gave me 500' of 1/4" gas line. Most of the stuff I ordered has 5/16" barbs on them. Question is, if I heat up the line in hot water, will I be able to fit the line over the barb? Also, anyone have any idea what the typical male threading is on a regulator?

Maybe depends on the type of line. Thing regulators are 1/4. Depending on which part , some are right handed. Some are left

Sorry, should have taken a pic of the regulator end

Right handed, that looks like a flare fitting. Take it off and get a 1/4 check valve with a barb. The check valve will save your regulator. Chi company also has check valves for your disconnects. I am about to order them
