    Is this keg broken?

Check the pickup tube for a hole. The keg will pour fine until the beer goes below the hole then co2 from the head space will be sucked in. PapaO

    Could use some advice...reducing foam

How did you carb your beer? Lowering the psi would make it foam more because you don’t have enough psi to keep the co2 in solution. Read this to get the proper line length and temperature and pressure. http://www.mikesoltys.com/2012/09/17/determining-proper-hose-length-for-your-kegerator/ PapaO

    Longer lines or tower cooler?

Lately I've been thinking the kegs make a huge difference. What huge difference? All a keg is something to hold pressure. They're completely different in design Both are designed to hold pressure. How is that different? ALL kegerators come with short lines and sanke taps with no issue or...

    Longer lines or tower cooler?

Line length or flow control faucets only control flow and will not stop co2 coming out of solution in a warm tower. The OP has first pour foam and foam if the beer sits in the line for 10 to 15 minutes. This a classic sign of a warm beer line.

    Kegging Question

First read this http://www.mikesoltys.com/2012/09/17/determining-proper-hose-length-for-your-kegerator/ . Then use the chart in Carbonation: Selecting Temperature and Pressure. You use your beer temp to set your co2 and leave it there.

    Longer lines or tower cooler?

Now You're saying its a pressure/carb issue? How can that be You keep saying. To the OP You're beer doesn't know what type of keg you have or how you control the flow. If you're system is out of balance you will get foam. If you only get foam on the first pour and after the beer sits in the...

Please help a kegging newbie-CO2 coming out of beer in liquid line

OP I don't think you are over carbed. Only change one thing at a time and start with your beer line. Get your pour time over 10 seconds per pint first.
