    B.E.S.T. Sanitizing Treatment - ever hear of it?

    Ever used B.E.S.T. (stands for "Best Equipment Sanitizing Technique" and is marketed by Advanced Brewing Technology, inc.)? I found this at my LHBS, and it costs $3.00 for a 4oz bottle. Looks like Odopher. The label says 12.84% tiratable iodine. Is this the same stuff?

    Stir plate stir bar. . . What size?

    Building a DIY stir plate and just received the stir bar I ordered - 1/2 x 1/8. Looks kind of small. Is this going to work with a 2000 ml flask? If not, what size do I need? Thanx

    Question about boiling DME

    Making a 2 qt starter and boiled 6 oz of DME as per MrMalty's instructions. As it's cooling, I notice a lot of sediment of DME that didn't dissolve. Is this normal?

    Return to Brewing. . . How does this sound
