    yeast starter for 45 gallon batches

    So I'm moving from my 10 gallon system to a 3 55 gallon drum system. So i was looking at mr. Malty and it said i needed 31 yeast packs in a 5 gallon starter. That seems outrageous.     may 4th big brew day

    is it ok to bottle?

    made a easy cider with wyeast cider yeast. it's in the fermented for 3 weeks. now.at week 2 I took Gravity of 1.010 and at week 3 its at 1.010. is it ok to bottle it with corn sugar. (1oz per gallon) . or would iget carbonation without corn sugar. or does it need more time in the fermenter...

    is 64* to low

    Brewing a blonde ale with wyeast 1056. It's fermenting at 64*. Is that to cold for fermenting?

    carbing and storing a keg.

    So can i just fill the keg with beer then throw like 30psi of co2 on it then diconect from tank then vold store. And will it be carbed when ready to drink. Or do i have to kerp it hooked to the co2 bottle. Just trying to figure it so i can force carb and not have to leave it on a bottle.

    question

    Sso It's been 2 weeks in the fermenter and time to bottle and not all the kroisen or foam has went back into the beer. What to do boottle or let ssit for another week.
