    Scythe and Sickle Clone?

I've got to bump this. I had one yesterday and was blown away by this beer. It was fantastic and the head retention was unbelievable. Very smooth and flavorful beer despite having a pretty moderate ABV. I'm not sure how long Ommegang has been making it though. I would clone this in a heartbeat.

    Hopslam Clone...

Turned out great. I was worried about my efficiency and the final product being a bit too bitter, but after tasting it my worries quickly faded. If my numbers are correct I finished at about 86 IBU or so, but the balance seems spot on. It's certainly not too bitter. I think with better...

    Hopslam Clone...

So I brewed this awhile back following Sleepy's recipe and though something went wrong I have hopes that it will still turn out decent. For whatever reason my efficiency was way off. IIRC SG should have been 1.090 and I came out at 1.070. I'm not entirely sure, but I think I know what went...

    American IPA Hopslam Clone

Glad to see recent activity for this clone. I plan on taking on the Hopslam clone this weekend. For those who've recently brewed this, what yeast setup did you guys use? I saw doubling up on dry yeast was fairly common, or would a Wyeast with a starter be sufficient for such a big beer?

Kegerator Build Igloo 4.6 FR465, Haier HNSE05, Kenmore 183.94679 and possibly others

Awesome job guys, glad I stumbled upon this thread as I just ordered the Igloo FR465. From what I understand it's identical to the FR464 but stainless.

    Igloo 4.6 Cu Ft Kegerator

Was this the FR464 model? I just ordered one from Walmart and intend on converting it as well. Thanks Edit: Just found this thread where a FR464 model was used so it looks like I'm good to go. Unless the specs have changed dramatically in the last few months...

    N00b Brewer from STL

Thanks everyone. As someone who's been a member of various online communities, I have to say, this group seems the most eager to help. A lot of communities have a sort of elitist attitude when it comes to helping those who are less experienced. I definitely can't say the same about this...

    N00b Brewer from STL

After months of lurking/studying this forum I'm finally introducing myself. A buddy of mine and I have been reading and researching home brewing for quite awhile and are currently on our second batch. Our first batch will be ready 4th of July weekend. To say I'm excited would be a huge...
