    Will Whitelabs 001 work at 60F

    Just wondering if this yeast will work at 60F or if I should move my beer upstairs to where its 68-70? Made a starter and used 2 vials but not much activity in the carboy. Right, ingredients list and all the fun stuffs. OG was 1.090

    First All grain :)

    Overall it was a pretty successful day. Or atleast as close as It could possibly come on my first AG :) Started off with a few Homebrew's I made last month (Red Ale extract) Brew day officially started at around 2:30pm. I'm pretty happy with the outcome of it all and I'm almost 100% sure...

    I just received my Smithwick's Clone kit from AHS. It will be my first AG batch... I've done alot of research, built a Mash tun? and have read over the directions that came with the kit atleast 10 times. I pretty much understand what needs to be done (for the most part) but if anyone has any...

    First Brew.

    Mhmmm beer. I picked up a Brewer's Best kit from my Local shop yesterday as well as a 22 quart stockpot? Stainless steel of course ;) So today was my first ever home brew. I'm pretty excited to see the end result. :ban: Pray to the beer gods for me? The waiting game begins.... :(
