How do I now know if I have mold growth? I've tried the beer, and it tastes fine (not great), but I'm nervous about sharing it. Any ideas...

It started after I added the fruit. I racked the beer on top of the peaches last weekend. Which bacteria would cause this? Thx.

White mold looking stuff on top of floating fruit

Hi all, what is this white stuff on top of the peaches? The beer was made 5 months ago with WL Sour Mix. I'm planning on letting the beer stay on the peaches for a couple of months.

    Jig for Bottom Keg Cut

This worked for me: find the center of the bottom and drill a hole the size of a nail. Make a small jig with 2 2x4s in an L shape. Clamp a grinder on on leg of the L. Put a nail through the other leg. Insert that same nail through the jig into the hole you drilled in the keg.

I didn't. I traded for the work. He used a grinder and told me that it was a huge PITA to cut through. Good luck with yours. I use a similar MT and it works great.

Monitoring/controlling with Linux on the cheap

I see that php works on the server side. That's a little out of my league right now. I'm thinking that I can use the spreadsheet and google query to fill in the chart. Thanks for the info. I'd still like to see the python if you get a chance. If you want the chart to auto update, do you have to...
