Great Northern Beer Festival - Eagle River WI June 8 2013

Look forward to visiting with all of you. Long time no see. Should be a great festival weekend this year. Maybe we can get a few other fellow brewers there too. Thanks! Yeah, we just got married 4 months ago, on New Years Eve.

    U.P. Brewery Book

Bosch was in Hancock back in the day. I know a few people up that way who remember it fondly. We can soon add Bells to the Escanaba list. Well, Upper Hand as I believe that extension of their brewery will be initially called.

Great Northern Beer Festival in Eagle River, WI

I will be there again this year. Campsite and all that already reserved. Should be another great fest. It's a shame that you won't be able to make it this year Yooper. Last year a few from the forum were there, Philli, like Yooper said. It was a good fest last year.

Green Bay Brewer says hey all!!

Greetings from just north of you, Bryan. I go down to GB often enough. Good LHBS there in downtown by Hinterland and I have to visit the local beer stores to get some good WI only beers always. Been brewing for 10 years now myself.

    Craft brew in cans?

Much easier for transport also. In the summers I look out for microbrews in cans to bring camping, etc. I'm liking this trend to cans, as every year I find additional beers that I enjoy showing up in cans.

    UPtoberfest - Escanaba MI 10/8/11

Yooper, I camped at a campground between Escanaba and Gladstone. Not many camping this time of year, but was a nice place to camp, and the 80 degree temps really made it nice.

    Hello from Finland

Greetings syncrouser, from a finlander in Michigan. Very strong Finnish ties up in my area. I still have yet to make a good Sahti style beer.

    Hello from Michigan

Yeah, Nicholet still has a website even. Just a single page showing their pilsner, but misleading as I thought that it was opened for a while when I moved here myself.

    Hello from Michigan

Greetings Irishbrewer89, from the UP. And as Tiber said, you are lucky down there. There's one small local homebrew store here, but not a single microbrewery. I have to go 50-100 miles from my current location for a brewpub or another homebrew store.. Midwest also is my main supplier.

    Need Beer in Cans!!!!
