    New 60 qt brew kettle question

    Just got a new brewkettle with a hole for weldless fitting :D. Is there anything that I need to attach on the inside of the kettle to help drain if i get a threaded ball valve? I'm just a bit confused on the whole matter of what needs to go on it. Thanks!

    Want to make a MLT but no 3/8" Threaded Ball Valve

    I went to home depot today to get the stuff to make a MLT using the specifications from FlyGuy...however they didnt have a 3/8" threaded ball valve...only 1/4" and 1/2".... So i was wondering if there was a good way to convert or make an adaptor to either one of those sizes.... Thanks!
