    carbonation/temperature question

I kegged some root beer at 37 degrees 25psi and it was good. I'd get a good pour, good head and tiny bubbles coming off the glass. I noticed the thermostat had been turned down and the temp was about 34. I turned the thermostat back where it was but I get a different pour. Sides of the glass...

Gave up on Amcyl and bought AEB

I purchased a 3 gal AMCYL keg from a local supplier. Looking forward to some root beer. I had nothing but trouble. The ball lock connecters (CMbecker) were hard to get on/off especially on the liquid side. A complaint I've heard from others with Amcyl. The top was hard to get positioned right. I...

duotight - replace requlator ball valve cutoff and barb

What part do I need to replace the regulator shutoff and barb so to use a duotight fitting. I have a Taprite series 3740 regulator. Just cut my finger on the screw clamp. This was the second time and since I'm on blood thinners that's enough. Already have duotight on the liguid rise.

Is there a brand/supplier or type of 3/16 beverage tubing that produces less foam than others. I need it to be available in 40' or more length. It's for high carbonation.

    corny liquid post question

I keg root beer which is carbonated and dispensed at 25 psi. I have 35' of 3/16 tubing on the picnic tap. I was getting nothing but foam unless I vented the keg and turned pressure downb15psi then dispense but that caused air gaps in the tubing. I replaced the dip tube o-ring on recommendation...

I can lower pressure to 15 and dispense and get a great mug o root beer but I end up with air gaps in the line. I'm at a loss as...

    Sprecher

I just ordered some extract from Sprechers. They call it an extract but probably more of a syrup. I was talking to their sales rep, I asked when the raspberry and strawberry flavors may be back in stock. I was told Sprecher is considering dropping the extract line completely. So if you use their...

I get my 3 gal cornet keg, pressure gauges, co2 and lines next week. I plan on making my first batch using Sprechers syrup/extract. The taste is close to the old midwestern root beer I grew up with. Did n Suds and A&w before the recipes were changed. Question I have. What pressure do I carbonate...
