So in sunny SoCal, where it's been in the 70's all week, when should I expect green shoots from my second-year hops? I need to plan for my revised trellis. This weather has me a little afraid my hops will come out of dormancy too early.

Hi, I live in an area which never (maybe once every 8-10 years) drops to or below freezing in the winter. But I was wondering, do you guys water your now invisible hops in the winter? I don't get a lot of rain in SoCal (although I am today). :confused:
