Splitting a 5 gal extract kit to brew 2 1/2 gal batches

Well split the kit in half, yes I measured all but the pitch, where I used the whole packet. In the conical and fermenting just fine. Thanks everyone.

Splitting a 5 gal extract kit to brew 2 1/2 gal batches

I have brewed a number of one gal extract kits, with success (according to my taste). I recently purchased a 5 gal Brewers Best Octoberfest extract kit. Question is can I just split the kit ingredients and brew 2 1/2 gal batches. Thanks.

My Cotton Candy Hefe, I hope.

Understand on the freezing of the fruit. Maybe bad advise from a LHBS. Still looking at adding some more fruit to the 2nd fermentation as a boiled sauce. Sound like a plan?

My Cotton Candy Hefe, I hope.

Well I am trying to dupe a cotton candy Hefe that was brewed at a craft brew pub in PA. True it was a bit sweet, but the flavor was to my liking.

My Cotton Candy Hefe, I hope.

I am trying to brew a cotton candy Hefe, 1 gal. brew OK, I have a Hefe in the initial fermentation stage. I added about 20 fresh frozen Cotton Candy grapes and 10 fresh frozen strawberries towards the end of my wort brew. I intend to add more fresh (again frozen to kill off any wild yeast)...

Cotton Candy small batch recipe wanted

Greetings. I am a new home brewer and have only made 2 one gal. Recipes so fat. While on vacation I enjoyed a wheat cotton candy craft brew at a brewpub. Anybody have a simple extract recipe or info on a small batch cotton candy brew? Thanks.
