I got it from my LHBS, I don't have it with me and I agree it is dark in fact it looks identica to the IPA I brewed??

Question about gravity readings, since I an brewing small one gallon batches I have never taken a gravity reading for not wanting to waste the sample, is it worth looking into a refractometer? Is it as accurate as a hydrometer?

Actually this batch was primed with a 1/4Cup DME boiled in 1/2Cup water and man I hope you are right, the other thing that has me concerned is the vinegar taste/smell.

So anyone else have an issue with a vinegar like taste/smell? Also my beer seems to be getting more carbonated with each one I open. In the pic it is the same batch just opened at different times. It fermented for 3 weeks and then bottle conditioned for 3 weeks. The upper left pic was #1 opened...

In this pic the upper left was the 1st one opened after 3 weeks in the bottle, lower left is a week or two later you can see the head is bigger and on the right is yesterday, any comments?

1/4 cup DME and a 1/2 cup of water per the suggestion of my LHBS. The summer was 3 Tbps of honey I'm a 1/2 C of water.

So on the left is a Brooklyn summer clone and on the right is the Everyday IPA from the Brooklyn Brewshop they look and taste very similar and the IPA seems to get more carbonated every time I open one? Any comments?

I did the same thing as far as the paint strainer bag, grabbed them at Home Depot and they fit the 3 gallon cooler perfectly, I would consider a false bottom but can't justify the expense plus I can't seem to find one that fits my cooler (3 gallon) which is 8" inside diameter.

Second one gallon batch bottled, Brooklyn summer clone, clears up nicely and it tastes good, now we wait for carbonation.

Me too, I just tried my Everyday IPA (BBS kit) and it came out great, gonna bottle a Brooklyn summer ale clone that I picked up from my LHBS this Sunday and am getting ready to brew a one gallon batch of Heffewezen, let me know how that Warrior kit comes out.
