Has anyone ever used mesquite as opposed to oak chips/cubes or whatever?
I know it does wonders for smoking meat and fish and for BBQ, but was wondering what it would do for beer. Opinions?
Hi gang! Had some leftover ingredients to use before getting too old so decided to toss something together and run it by you for opinions/suggestions:
5 Gal full boil
.5lbs chocolate malt
.5lbs belgian special B
3 lbs Breiss pilsen light dme (60 min)

I have a Wee Heavy that has been sitting in the secondary for two months and am about ready to bottle and age. Should I pitch more yeast or just add priming sugar to the bottling bucket?
Thoughts?
