Is it just me or are hops like super addictive? Since I started drinking IPA's nothing tastes right to me but really hoppy beers. Anything else is just too sweet. Last one I drank was Green Flash Brewery's Palate Wrecker. It was probably the best beer I've ever had. If anybody has a clone recipe...

I did this without the spices...no cinnamon and no cloves...will it still taste all right? Any chance I could ad it in there after fermentation has started...because its started

I wouldn't go minimal hops personally. The right kind of hops can really give your beer an extra citrusy flavor.

Bottling day was yesterday. I ended up with 8 bottles from a gallon. I haven't had any problems yet. How soon after bottling do bottle bombs occur? Not saying it will just wondering if there is a point where I'll know it's safe?

I didn't scrape that down just fyi I worded that wrong lol

I have another question...when it had bubbled up through the airlock it left a film on the upper inside of the carboy...did that need to be scraped back into wort or is it still ok? I'm not getting any bubbles in my airlock at all.

I did my first home brew and it ended up bubbling through the airlock...I cleaned it put it back on and it bubbled for awhile now i'm on day 4 of fermentation and no bubbles are coming up through the airlock. I'm assuming the yeast is good because of if bubbling to begin with.
