    Pawtucket Water

Anyone have a water report from the public water supply in Pawtucket, RI? The utilities public water quality reports don't include the mineral contents that we as brewers are interested in. I'll send out for a ward report if necessary but figured i'd ask if anyone has one first. Thanks

My Brewstand: SS two tier w/ temperature controls

Great stuff! I was wondering what you're using to regulate the LP pressure from the tank. It seems that there aren't a lot of choices to get down to the .5 PSI required for the Smart Valves. Speaking of the valves do you mind sharing what model they are? Are you still having challenges...

New mash tun manifold: where to solder?

If the joints can slide apart while in the cooler, i would definitely solder some of the joints for some rigidity or modify it further so that it can't fall apart. Bottom line however careful you try to be it will fall apart at some point. Consider changing your corner elbows with T's and...

tired of leaking weldless connections on my keggle

So i did a brew session on sunday and of course my thermometer mounted half way up the keg started to leak in process. Nothing much i could do at that point, but at least it was just a slow drip. It brought me to the decision to move to welded fittings. It seems that tri-clover is probably...
