and the moral is.... upgrade your picnic taps!

I know this post is 5 years old but I have to mention this happened to me last month. Somehow, when I slammed the door it must have jiggled the picnic tap handle just enough to start a leak. My mini fridge is upstairs, above my garage. I left for a walk with my wife, came back about an hour...

    Are these carboys cracked? (PIC)

They're working fine. Have them sitting in my garage, filled with water. Not a drop to see anywhere, it does appear to be a manufacturing thing. I put them up on craigslist and will inform interested parties of the results of this posting.....

    Are these carboys cracked? (PIC)

    My portable party kegger

Ok attaching a couple simple pics, one of the rear and a closeup of one side. Pic quality isn't that great but you'll get the idea. The closeup merely details the groove and tight tolerances around the corny. I considered all kinds of ways to "lock" this thing into the carrier although...

    My portable party kegger

I'll post some additional pics tomorrow and give some more commentary then. As for the foam, I've always been pretty careful handling that thing. It has a handle although I honestly carry it like a newborn. No foaming issues but I set the pressure with my regular co2 setup and don't connect...

    My portable party kegger

Posting a quick pick of a carrier I made for my 2.5 gallon corny. Made out of African mahogany, this wood should hold up to being taken in and out of the fridge..... For walks to my neighbors house. I've only taken this to a couple parties but man, when I walk in the door everybody gets pretty...

    West Covina, CA

I'll second that. The new owner (also named Sean) is totally honest and forthcoming. More beer in riverside was ok, but I'll be going to socalhomebrew for the better service:mug::
