    Vanilla bean porter gone wrong

Before it was cooled? Well the wort chiller is running inside the kettle as it is cooling so technically it is exposed while it is chilling before I pitch the yeast. But I have never had a problem before. I think when I transferred to secondary it might not have been done fermenting which is...

    Vanilla bean in secondary

I am going to brew a vanilla bean porter tomorrow, the recipe says to steep 2 vanilla beams in 170 degree water for twenty minutes. It does not say how much water, and do I add the entire contents? Or just the vanilla beans themselves after they steep? Any help would be appreciated.

    How to keg

I have an IPA in primary for another week, then dryhop. I was wondering how to keg it when its done. Do you just rack it into the keg and pump co2? And how long does it have to carbonate before you drink it?

How long till I dry Hop?

Hi Guys, this is my first post. I am very excited, and this is my second batch. I am doing a West Coast Dry hopped IPA, and the instructions say wait one week then transfer to secondary to dry hop for 10 days. That seems a bit short for primary. Does that sound right?
