I have just brewed a IPA and I wasn't getting any action in my carboy so I repitched with dry yeast now its going crazy bubbled out the air lock so I pulled the airlock. Not a good idea took a beer shower put in a blow off tube . Its been three days now of crazy action going on . :ban:

There is quite a bit of trub in my bottles. When i open a bottle the beer just foams out after i open it after about 5 seconds. You can just watch it start bubbling then explode out. Whats going on been in bottles for 4 weeks.

Why did the head on on my IPA turn out so thick ..When I pour its about 3 inches tall and thick...sorta wierd

I bottled my beer 1 week ago popped one open today ..Huge head looks great but bubbleing like a mad man in the glass. Never seen a beer bubble so much..retains head for ever.. Looks like I did good... :ban:

I want to try to do a partial mash brew. My recipe call for 12 lbs of grain and 1.25 lbs of DME . 12 lbs sounds like alot to steep . I did an all grain last time but a guy I know said I should try partial....

Ok so I took my FG test today then tasted my beer today it looks real good but didnt taste so great will it be better after bottling , It wasnt bad but a little bitter...:smack:

Ok so I just finished my boil put in yeast put air lock on noticed it wasnt half full so I took cap off added some more water just a little not even an ounce it ran in bucket.. Didnt realize that was gonna happen think i destroyed my beer I sure hope not ..Air lock was sanitized but container I...

I am just getting into brewing and was wondering if a 5 gallon mash tun wil be large enough to make a 5 gallon batch or should I go larger. Having a hard time finding a round drink cooler over 5 gallons....
