    What are you drinking now?

He's just grinning and looking confused. I'm jealous of some of the beers he's drunk (not available here) but he added chilli sauce to his fish and chips, which is a massive faux pas so I now have less sympathy. I got a few pints left in me before I need to lie down...

    Mercury problem

Mercury is imiscible in water so you should be able to see if there was any in there. But if I were you I would want to be more sure than that. I'm not sure what the tests are for mercury though. U.S. doesn't have a monopoly on H&S legislation you know :D Mercury has been banned in...

£50,000 of rare beer stolen from small indy distributor

Actually I think the Brewdog Prototypes are only in 330ml bottles (that's the Hobo Pop, Interstaller and Brixton Porter). I've only ever seen Brewdog in 330ml and 660ml bottles regardless. The Interstellar and Hobo Pop are both really good, not managed to try the Brixton Porter or Moshi Moshi...

£50,000 of rare beer stolen from small indy distributor

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-essex-25594482 Here's hoping they find the culprits. Have ordered gifts for people from Ales by Mail on a number of occasions, they have been unfailingly polite and efficient.

Buck's fizz (that's mimosa to you lot) to wash away the traditional massive Christmas Eve hangover. Then probably onto my dad's homebrew, some bath ales or some east street cream (which is a bitter and in no way creamy). Merry Christmas!

    DogFish Head 90

I had a 90 Minute in New York the other week, I was very excited to try it because DFH is impossible to get in the UK. It was pretty good I guess... I was already pretty drunk though so I probably didn't appreciate it fully.
