    Plastic keg

The snake connectors are cheap plastic and leak. I have two of them I got as a sample and they are honestly only good unless the sanke fitting is connected the entire time.

basement brewing with Drain or No Drain?

I have no floor drain and keep a mop and bucket on hand. I am only doing 12 gallon batches, but I made a drip tray out of aluminum sheeting that can catch boilover or general spillage. It's very effective.

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

Well I thought something weird like a short on the pcb may have occurred so I scraped around the pi outs and that seemed to do the trick. Weird...

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

Hey all, I'm having problems with my onewire sensors. After acting wacky when I turned my heater on they now no longer show up at all. Not even under devices. I tried a new sensor with no luck. Could something have fried out on me? The resistor seems fine. Checked that with the meter. I swapped...

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

Question. I am having an issue with the Onewire sensors when I turn my heating element on. I use a thermal-well now in a keggle. I think since the element uses the kettle as a ground, it may be causing interference with the sensors. When I turn the element on, it shows 32F on both my...

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

Hey everyone! Does anyone use the cheap relay boards with a Terragady? I would need a LOW output from the GPIO instead of 12v, and I am trying to find a solution here. This specific relay board is designed for 12v but I forgot it needed the LOW input to trigger the relay vs the HIGH input...

Help with the terragady 4.2 PCB and CraftBeerPi?

Well it occurred to me that perhaps my wires on the onewire were not as I assumed... green is data and yellow was ground lol. Working now!

Help with the terragady 4.2 PCB and CraftBeerPi?

One thing I noticed different from yours is a .55v reading from the one wire data ports. Should it be 5v?

Help with the terragady 4.2 PCB and CraftBeerPi?

Hey man I am having the same exact problem! I did a clean install of raspbian bc I thought it may be brewpi at fault. I did update the file as you mentioned, but it didn't solve the issue. Is there something else you might have changed at the same time that solved the issue? I'm at a loss!

i would highly suggest not swapping it out. The midnight wheat gives a great roasty flavor you will miss with chocolate.

Just do it and wait a extra day. It won't hurt!

Firestone Walker Wookey Jack Clone Attempt

I just mash at 150... I will have to try increasing the temp next time, but I doubt it makes that great of a difference!

I just kegged my third batch of this bad boy. I get a heavy hop flavor from the dry hop and I'm surprised it is missing for you! Did you dry hop in a bag or tea screen? I dry hop right into the wort. Can't wait to drink this bad buy in a week or two!

    Drinking in Toronto?

I went to Toronto in November and was very underwhelmed by the selection even in the store. Brews are super expensive in Canada are well ($12 for a 6 pack of standard beer selection)! I hope someone has a good suggestion for you!

Firestone Walker Wookey Jack Clone Attempt

I've decided to make this brew my house IPA. Will forever now have it on tap (unless it runs out before I can replenish, which will probably be the case!)
