    Continually fail at set-it-and-forget it - Advice Please

    I just want to ask is the co2 left on (open at all times) cause there should be no way your not getting carbonation. On the forget method the co@ must be on at all time that why I tend to do more burst carbonation( I have a small leak the pops up some times that I cant pin point yet).

    Refill a co2 tank thats not fully empty?

    It has about 12oz left in it. I will refill but I am wondering if that could carb and push a 19l corny keg???

    Can I or should I refill my co2 tank even thought it is not completely empty. I know is close but I am about to connect a new keg and I will not get a chance to refill for a few weeks ( have to plan to take of work). Any ideas refill or wait?

    Does anyone brew Malta (unfermented wort) for consumption? If so does anyone have a good recipe?

    DME is dried malt extract and is a good sub for sugar. Your beer will have more depth and better head retention. Using your kit with DME and fresh hops is a good stepping stone to a partial or all-grain.

    I would buy some DME and use that over a second kit. It would be slightly cheaper and will not and the extra hops from the second kit or now you can add fresh hops.     Forced Carbing. What am I doing wrong!

    Do you chill keg before pulling a sample? If not you will get a big glass of foam. I only have a chest freezer which I can't modify so I will put in my keg for 2 hours then enjoy.

    My Root Beer stinks!! I give up.

    Bread yeast will ferment but will leave a nasty smell behind. You really want some form of brewing yeast.

    I would say go for it I have my second batch of wine just using grape juice frozen concentrate. I also added even more sugar. If you do that though add some yeast energizer. You will get some strong stuff.
