    I forgot to introduce myself.

So I joined back in November I think. I must have overlooked the intro section. So here I am:ban: I started with doing a hard cider, which failed miserably. along with the following two cider recipes. So I gave up on hard cider and was looking into real brewing. Got myself a turkey fryer and...

new brew station up and running

Added some heat shields where I felt needed, and made a holder for all my spoons, filter, lighter, refractometer and below a spot for my star san bucket. oh and my nifty paper towel holder. The shields are drip pans for an oven, a 2pack at walmart is .97 cents, and they're easy to work bend...

Basic 3 tier wood gravity fed brew rig

new brew station up and running

I went with a fairly low profile design so once it gets nice out I can wheel this around back and brew on our covered...

new brew station up and running

I got really tired of only having the one burner and trying to heat up my HLT and then when I'm draining out of my mash tun to the boil pot, it gets coldish. Not to mention I was scared I was going to spill boiling water on myself or risk dropping my finished wort. So today (an hour after I...

Looking for an outside boiler solution

I use a turkey fryer from homedepot, it came with a 30qt pot for $70. Works great for me. EDIT: I did upgrade to a 10gal pot for my boil, and use the pot it came with for sparge water.
