    Why is Amber Ale so BORING?

    I cannot say I have had an "interesting" amber ale, they do seem very one note to me as a style. I wouldn't say it is due to the hop explosion either as I tend not to be a hop head and more toward the funky/farmhouse end of the spectrum. I feel like the style lends itself to thin/watery not very...

    Dried Apricot for my belgian saison?

    honestly I would use fresh or canned, dried apricots i have found give a not so pleasant aroma and flavor to the beer. Obviously opinions will vary :)

    Well desperate times called for quick mixing premixed pancakes in which the only addition to it was heady topper. They were glorious. Didn't have eggs either so it worked out

    pomegranate wheat recipe? (pomegranate molasses)

    I wouldn't go a full 16oz, having tried it it is fairly strong in flavor and I think a little bit will go a long way, I would look into 8 or 10oz and if you want a more pronounced flavor add it late into secondary, or even add it at bottling correcting so that there aren't any bottle bombs.

    was the airlock thoroughly cleaned before using? did some hops make it over into the ferm?
