Oxygenating/aerating tea prior to primary fermentation?

Hello, community! I am moving from homebrewing beer to making kombucha, and I'm working to see what of my beer making gear I can adapt for kombucha use. I have an oxygenation stone for aerating wort and I'm wondering if the SCOBY yeasts benefit from well-oxygenated tea, just like yeasts benefit...

    ANVIL FOUNDRY ALL-GRAIN BREWING SYSTEM

Yeah, I just got their email notification as well. I'm quite curious. I'm in the market for an all-in-one electric all grain system, as I live in Oregon and thus can't brew outside over half the year, and I don't have a garage to have a large HERMS system in. I was thinking about getting the...

    "The Doctor" Kava Coconut Porter

Hi there! I answered on my other thread, but I figured I'd answer here too. I had no contamination from the root, and all I did was rinse it thoroughly with warm water. Do NOT boil it. Don't even rinse it with hot water. Jus rinse the root in warm water, chop it into pieces, and then throw it...

    Speedball Coconut Porter

The oil from the coconut reduced head retention, but that was about it. It did make for a fantastic beer, however, and that WAYYY more than made up for the lack of a foamy head.

    Speedball Coconut Porter

All I did was thoroughly wash it was warm water, chop it up into pieces, and then throw it into secondary! There was no contamination.

How to test jockey box without beer?

I understand! I also wanted to do a wood and fiberglass build, but it just wasn't feasible for me either... And honestly, building the jockey box was not without its own issues, and I am now very glad that I didn't try to build a box on top of getting everything else sorted out. BTW, if you want...

How to test jockey box without beer?

I actually built one of those for my kegerator a few years back and was planning on using it to sanitize the lines. I actually just went to the store and bought about 48 cans of Miller for around $25. 48 cans makes up about 4.5 gallons, and I'll split it into three kegs and pour away over the...

How to test jockey box without beer?

Nope, I most definitely had to soak the lines in boiling water first... Even then they were a PITA to get on! I doubt they will be going anywhere... Sent from my iPad using Home Brew

All my beers finish around 1.008-1.010

Guys, I know that an IPA "should" be finished dry, but this is HOMEBREW, and OP can brew it how ever the hell they want to, IMHO. OP stated that they wanted this beer to finish around 1.017, not dry it the heck out. I get it, I like dryer IPA's and IIPA's too, but we are here to support him on...
