How to build a Brewing Control Panel - HERMS 240V 30 AMP

Excellent! I just mounted my components in the exact same configuration (minus the voltage meter) and just haven't wired it up yet. Very clear now!

    Reusing Beau's (Ottawa) beer bottles...

Not sure you can do anything with that capper. The neck just doesn't give you anything for the capper to pull the cap down with. I've bottled in Beau's bottles with no problem, but always use a stand capper. Standard cap size worked fine.

    Best compliment you've received?

Last Friday was beer club. 13 guys, I'm the only brewer. There is alot of *****ie-snoberto going on, one guy especially. I brought my 4-hear-old Belgian quad and a 1-year-old Belgian IIPA with Simcoe/Citra. Nozzle-nose was immediately put off, because "homebrew." After trying both, he was...

    Saskatoon Melomel

Looks nice. I can't get fresh Saskatoons here, only in preserves or jams. Like blueberry and elderberry crossed. Do you do anything else to the berries (crush, squeeze) or just freeze them and put them in frozen?

    Erlenmeyer flask on elec stove?

Boiling in the flask. Saw a boilover just starting up. Grabbed the flask with a towel to move it off the burner, but it was too late and I paid for it. Friggin wort!

[SPOILERS] Star Wars - The Force Awakens / Rogue One

I'm with most of you on the pacing. Same story could have used an extra 30 minutes. But I was very pleased with it. Kylo Ren started as a badass, but kind of devolved into a angsty Force-brat. Stopping bolts mid-air to losing saber battle to a noob. I liked Chewie, specifically the humour, but...

Need help with moving Beersmith to a new (and old) computer

I always enjoy a good love story. I think all your recipes and equipment profiles are saved in the Beersmith2 folder in your Documents folder. As long as you back that folder up and put it back after reinstalling Beersmith, you should be fine. Your software activation is different, though...

Supercharging a natural gas BG14 burner

This interests me considerably. Since switching my KAB6 to NG with the Blichmann kit, my recovery times have been okay, but my boil-off changed quite a bit. I have not been happy with the flame I'm getting. I'll have to try this approach.

    Video Games

Just upgraded my video card and got Fallout 4. I am not sure I will brew for the next month, because that would be time away from F4. Geez, it is so huge and immersive and pretty! I've never had a video card that allowed me to play a gorgeous game at 1080, Ultra settings. Playing on my 47" TV...
