Thanks! Yeah, I figure if the wood could withstand lots of years on the side of some old barn in Iowa, it should do well in the garage. I like the unfinished look but did think originally that I'd add some clear lacquer. I added a string of led lights that change color - my way of adding some...

    Brutus knock off build

Looking good. I did something similar to yours. It was a lot of work as you know, but now that it's done, the actual brew days go pretty smoothly.

    Brutus Ten finally complete

Just finished my keezer project after brewing on my Brutus system. The wood is old barnwood and the keezer holds four corny kegs inside. A Johnson controller maintains the temp.

    Brutus Ten finally complete

Thanks for the compliments. I mounted the pumps with one upside down so the wires would fit clean into the steel frame in the center. I thought it might be a problem, but when I unscrewed the head of the pump, it seemed like it could just be flipped. So far so good. As for the wiring, I started...

    Brutus Ten finally complete

A special thanks to Lonnie Mac and his great videos on YohooTube! I thought I'd post some pictures of the finally finished Brutus Ten. The pictures on this site helped me figure out where things went and I figured I'd add to the collection. Started the Brutus build from scratch a few months ago...

    Thermocoupler reading incorrectly

It looks like everything is wired correctly on my Love PID, but the PV temp is reading the wrong temp. I tested the thermocouples on a Johnson control and they seem to work okay but when I hook them up to my PID I get bad temps. I've gone through the settings and tried the J, K, E, etc., but...

    Love PID wiring help

The marking on the Love controller says 16CO. I really thought the use of these would be fairly simple. I know they are overkill for what I'm using them for (after looking at all the setting configs). All I really wanted them to do was work like the smaller, single display Love's. Is it possible...

    Love PID wiring help

Day_Trippr, thanks for the info. It looks like I was able to wire it correctly but as I was going through the settings, I changed something that said "volt" and saw some sparks. Good thing because now I may name this wonderful brew idea "Sparky's". Anyone know if the factory settings will work...

    Love PID wiring help

Anyone know where #'s 1,2 or 15 go? I'm not sure which one turns the Asco valve on and off?? Thanks!

    Love PID wiring help

BigSally, thanks for the link ... That's helpful. I'm pretty sure the number 1 and 2 slots need to be wired directly to the Asco (or do they?). That's where I'm confused and not even sure how to test the system. #1 shows a negative (-) symbol while #2 shows a positive (+). I'm a little like one...
