Are you using the yeast that came with the kit? I've had two separate batches come back to life krausen and all after 2 weeks. I've found it has happened to others as well. May just be the yeast.
After one week of no activity it came back to fermentation. Not moved once and temps around 68 to 70.

I think cleaning after each batch is a must. There is a space between cavity that I noticed always hold buildup of wort/trub. I didn't after my first batch when I did pull it out when I started my third batch there was noticeable mold on the Teflon tape. Luckily my beer came out fine.
