iv only ever kegged 5l mini kegs so maybe im not the one to comment but i dont mind bottling so much
and yes that wonderful hiss when you crack open a bottle is priceless
plus the sheer amount of different kinds of bottles is also quite worthwhile
so for me (5 gal batch) i keg 10 litres in 2...
never done the capital but ive done bruge
cant remember what beers i drank but i wasn't disappointed
first time i tried leffe straight from the tap and its way better than the bottle
and stuff your face with waffles in between pints.
wow thanks for the info sounds great
underground restaurants sound like my kind of thing
I'l get a hold of a frommers guide aswell as quckly try to learn some basic Czech
Well i've finally managed to book up for a quick break to Prague in the middle of December and was wondering about recommended Czech drinks to try?
And i guess also for anyone thats been before, some must have places to visit/things to do?
cheers
I dont know, i think homebrew tastes different to commercial brew, but this taste is neither better nor worse, i think it just different.
More variety for life thats all =]
just started another batch off
was wondering about racking it onto some raspberrys in secondary?
anyone else tried some kind of fruit flavouring (that isnt apple ;P)
.5 lb of brown sugar
908g tin of Lyles golden syrup
OG came out at 1.090
i boiled 2 sticks of cinnamon in the dissolving sugar/syrup and half the juice
then removed one of the sticks and left the other in the fermenter
had a sip of it when it was boiling away, tasted tip top
