Of the 20+ brews I have made, this is by far my favourite! Tried another batch with 50/50 centennial and Amarillo and just isn't as good as the original.
14 days in the primary and this this tastes pretty good. I used the belle saison yeast and it doesn't seem to have quite as much character as a 3711 but we will see how the final product turns out. Doing a secondary with nelson and hibiscus in a couple days.
Hey guys,
2 weeks into fermenting a 7.3 abv all centennial Ipa. Ibu's are around 65-70. If I was to dry hop with 3 ounces of centennial will it be one dimensional or is centennial going to provide enough interwsting aroma? Aroma right now is really lacking. Any other suggestions?
If you like ginger at all I would definitely keep it in. The combo of all 4 of the ingredients is heavenly. Although the vanilla is heavy(only been in my bottles for 3 weeks). I would recommend the ginger, it adds a nice sweet spice to the finished product.

3lbs pilsner
2lbs cracked wheat(which i believe is raw?)
1lbs of wheat malt
and i may throw in some oats for head retention etc...
