I know this has been out of works for a while, but just started kegging and is my problem. Thread has helped and going to check my water levels. Kayos??? Did it go away with aging in the keg? Do you remember how long it took?
I am purchasing a blinchman burner and have a 10gal Home Depot cooler. I have the ability to get two free converted 15.5 kegs pre drilled (wherever I want drilled and cut), just no ball valves or fittings. I currently have a 9 aluminum gallon turkey burner pot and burner and was planing on...
First keg has now been sitting on 10.5 recommend co2 for a month "aging" in fridge btw, tapped tonight again and still very cloudy and just as bitter tasting. Probably pulled a gallon out already over the month thinking it was maybe bad sediment on bottom...
Alright guys, random beer ?... I have now kegged 2 beers and 1 bottled since I started brewing. Bottled tasted great. Kegs are both SUPER bitter.. almost soapy tasting. 1st keg tried to force carbonate and let sit for 3 days, worst, other keg set at 10.5 and let sit in fridge for 2 weeks after...

Rebel Brewer in Tennessee I know for a fact that they crush there grains and measure out ingredients right before shipped out. Being my LHBS, you go in and pick a kit, they come back in about 20 min after making the kits fresh! Plus seem to be cheaper on a ton of other stuff than other sites...
Already been a member since before I started, asking them what I should and shouldn't buy. I post on there a lot! Great people. And from the previous post I graduated from MTSU as well!
I got the urge to start this new hobby in November 2012. I was going to start small, but that didn't last even before I got to drink my first beer. I am still an extract brewer, but plan to make the switch to all grain in april (Birthday present). I currently just brewed an oatmeal stout, and...
