Hop City is a great store. They claim over 2000 beers I think. I know they have the best selection I have found as well as a lot of growler fills with a lot of locals. They are also a small homebrew shop.
Hit sweetwater, and if you have time Jailhouse Brewing below Atl and terrapin brewing.

I used citra as a dry hop on one and the next used it at 10 min, flameout and dry. With one oz I would dry hop. It works really well with this. The 2nd one I did is my favorite beer I have made.

I love citra an it matched very well with this beer. The aroma and flavor are amazing. It is still very smooth and extremely...
I actually live in Alabama. But my dad lives in Syracuse so when we visit I always visit Muddle Ages as well as Dino BBQ (some o the best BBQ I have had anywhere. Also forgot Empire brewing in Syracuse and War Horse and Wagner down in the finger lakes.
If in Syracuse hit Middle Ages brewing. My favorite is ithaca beer co. Be sure to hit Ommegang, Southern Tier, Troefs. Also if passing through Utica hit Matt Brewing which is home to Saranac.
Making my second batch tomorrow. First batch was dyhopped with citra.Thsi batch I am Removing the 30 minute and adding .5 oz citra at 10 and 0, Also will dry hop with citra and maybe a little cascade. Guy at a homebrew shop I was talking to did a similiar malt bill and with this hop schedule...
Well I did 3 ok extracts, 1 terrible AG, 1 ok AG, and finally one really good Blonde AG. Biggest thing I can suggest is to find a homebrew club to join. That is what I did. We have 3 certified judges which helps a lot. Everyone has tasted my beers and I have gotten a lot of feedback to...
Seems everyone thinks it is water related. What should be my next steps. BTW my mash PH was between 5.5-6.0. I have picked up the campden tablets. From what I have read they will remove the chlorine/chloramine. My other option is to use well water from my inlaws as well as buying RO water...
