    What the heck is this?

It's a twin gauge co2 reg with a 120 volt solenoid, needle valve and bubble counter. As others have mentioned it's for injecting co2 into an aquarium as plant fertilizer (freshwater) or to run a calcium reactor (saltwater). The input threads will be standard cga-320 and can easily be adapted...

    Blessed by IPA day!

I went out in the daylight this morning to checkout the haul. One burner is in pretty rough shape but I should be able to salvage the actual burner. The stand is rusted out but I can probably bolt new legs on. The second burner is good to go. Not bad for being free!

    Mississippi mud

I used to buy these when I still worked in a grocery store. Pretty sure I was the only one to ever purchase them because I never saw the stock go down besides what I bought. Publix stopped carrying them after a dispute with the distributor. Not sure where to get them anymore in Florida.

    Blessed by IPA day!

Went to the local tap room tonight to make my offering to the great IPA gods. Apparently I did well and made them very happy. Upon returning to my apartment I found two bayou classic burners out for the trash. I'm now on my way to a 3-vessel system!

    Bottling in bathroom

I bottle on the door of my dishwasher. If I make a mess just close the door and it'll clean itself the next time I turn it on.

    Goodbye

I vowed to stop using usps recently and this thread only reassures my decision. Sick of them losing packages, destroying packages, stealing, and just general lack of any competency. Hopefully someone at PayPal is a homebrewer and will take pity on you situation.

    My first bottle bomb

Matt you make a good point. The blames on me since I didn't give each bottle a good once over before buying them (or before bottling). Next time I'll just order a case of bottles as it would have been the same price. For some reason I thought they were $1.99 each until I rang them up and...

    My first bottle bomb

They are pretty thick, especially the one I have made in Italy, but this bottle had a manufacturing defect. Looked like a swirl in the glass but I guess it was a crack that went all the way through. First time I used the bottle it bubbled from this spot.

    My first bottle bomb

I need to start inspecting them before use too. I have a variety of bottles (20oz soda, 1L pet, normal long neck, and 1L Ikea swing top) and this is the only kind of bottle I've had trouble with so far.

    Grolsch bottle seals

I bought a bag of these for my Ikea swing tops. Replace every few uses. http://www.northernbrewer.com/shop/grolsch-gaskets.html

    My first bottle bomb

Can you tell which was the chipped bottle I wasn't supposed to use anymore? Noticed an aroma of fresh beer in the pantry when getting a treat for the dog. Looked down and noticed some brown liquid on the lip of the cooler my newest batch was carbing in. Sure enough I was greeted with a...

    pulley hoist system for carboys

Sometimes you need to lift a carboy, sometimes you need to lift a whole keezer. Always better to be prepared right?
