I don't think I saw it mentioned in the posts above, but some could be putting a pause on their brewing for health issues. I had to stop for a few years because of this.
I brewed 5 gallons of this today. I hope this is something similar to what I drank in London and Glasgow, I definitely drank my share spending a year in Scotland.
I don't know if you've brewed this Newcastle clone or not, but it seems to be popular and is made without blending. I haven't brewed it yet but it's on my list.

I do have some Amarillo that I thought might help add some orange flavor by adding at 10 min. I do have some orange zest that I vacuum sealed a while back too.
The Admiral hops are British and lists the aroma profile of:
ORANGE • TEA • FRESH • SAP
I found this recipe on www.jimsbeerkit.co.uk for Weather Oak Brewery's Sunshine Marmalade and Thought it would be an interesting recipe to try. What difference in flavor, if any would there be in replacing the Admiral bittering hops with Magnum as long as I kept the 33 IBU? Here is the recipe...
I brewed 10 gallons of this today, my larger kettle and new 200,000 btu burner worked great as this was my first 10 gallon batch. Not much more work than 5 gallon batch. First use of new potable water hose which greatly reduces the work toting water. Pretty good brew day all in all.
I have the 20 gal and really like it, if I had to do it over again I would go with the sanitary connections. It did have slightly thicker sides and bottom than others at the time.
I use gelatin and bottle without the problem you are having. After I pour a from a bottle I put a small amount of water in the bottle, put my thumb over the top and after a vigorous shake it rinses out clean.
I did do a second one not as full and it did ok. On the first time, the coloring was light and showed up more on the paper towels I used to wash it out afterwards.
That's what I've got. I had the same concerns so I did a mash less grain at 170* that nearly filled the cooler and let it sit for an hour. It did bleed a bit of the orange into the water but after a good cleanup it has since been fine.
It also let me check the initial temperature drop warming...
