So... UPDATE. The counterflow chiller that I wanted to purchase was supposed to be in stock on Jan 8th, then the date changed to Jan 9th, then changed to Jan 21st. Then it changed to Jan 30th. Then it changed to Feb 2nd. Now it says Feb 18th. This is getting ridiculous!

This would be a great option... if we knew the original "in stock date" would not be changed. But AHS keeps changing the dates. Of course I've now become skeptical of the counterflow chiller actually being in stock on January 30th, as an example. And yes, kh54s10, I am complaining about...

I asked for some gift certificates to Austin Homebrew for Christmas from my family this year, as I've purchased kits and other things from them in the past and had been pleased with both product quality and low shipping cost. BUT... I can't believe that they are out of stock of so many...

A buddy of mine owns a distillery, and he wants me to make a 5 gallon batch of homebrew, then age it in one of his whiskey barrels. Any suggestions on the type of homebrew to make? Thanks! :rockin:
