    Stone Xocoveza Mocha Stout

Chris, Thanks for commenting on this thread. It's a really great beer! I'm going to assume that Stone doesn't want you handing out your original recipe to the world at large, so thanks for the tips! Cheers! Here's the ingredient list off of Stone's website. IN THE MASH U.S...

    Stone Xocoveza Mocha Stout

This beer was probably the best thing about my trip to San Diego a few weeks ago. Please update with the results! Thanks!

    Bud Light Clone?

This one went over well with my college friends (circa 1991). Most folks thought it tasted kinda like Mic Light or Bud Light. I actually started brewing to save money, and succeeded for about six months before I started making good beer. BMC drinkers like it and it's really cheap. It tastes...

    LowRYEder Clone help

Sorry to dig up an old thread. How did your clone turn out? I'm gonna try to clone this one too as I love this beer.

"Disabled Veteran" plates on luxury cars

Seems to me that someone who lost their legs in combat could be a "disabled vet." Nothing to keep that person from being a Doc, a Lawyer, an Engineer, or business owner.

    Alabama Homebrew Legislation 2013

The "Alabama 2014 Legislation" page will hopefully be about the "Free the Hops" organization's push for less restrictive transportation rules and higher storage limits. Of course that may have to wait for 2015....

    Alabama Homebrew Legislation 2013

Nobody that I know of knew that was coming (including Huff). The "Right to Brew" folks that I know were listening into the Senate proceedings just in case, but everyone was surprised. I was making an ice cream run for the wife and listening via iphone. I nearly ran off the road, was sure I...

    Alabama Homebrew Legislation 2013

    It's kinda anti-climatic, but here's your audio: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_wGs2gDxYwRMUNELW9nUk0zejg/edit?usp=sharing

    Alabama Homebrew Legislation 2013

I was listening and this is what I think happened (disclaimer, I'm NOT an expert on this).... They were pushing through a ton of "local" bills that were passing by acclimation with no debate or delaying. There was some kind of "deal" made in the background to bring up HB9 and one other bill...

    Alabama Homebrew Legislation 2013

It's a rumor until it's real. Mac has hung in there with us even though this issue isn't exactly a political gold mine (anything but in fact). Let's hope the rumor is accurate but I'm not getting my hopes up. I plan on calling Senators again tonight and in the morning asking for a vote (and...

    Alabama Homebrew Legislation 2013

Latest from the "Right to Brew" folks: We're down to 3 more Legislative Days left in the session. The Senate worked out some deals between the parties, and got through a lot of business and bills today. But unfortunately, HB9 was not on the list. They convene next Tuesday afternoon, so that's...

    Alabama Homebrew Legislation 2013

If you call after hours and just leave a message, they won't ask you for a name, address, or district.... just saying....

    Alabama Homebrew Legislation 2013

Yeah... once the session is over for the year, every bill has to start all over again. This year, it's passed the house committee, the full house, and the senate committee. It still has to make the senate's full chamber calendar and pass the senate, then it has to be signed by the Governor...

    Alabama Homebrew Legislation 2013

Doesn't really matter at this point if Johnson voted for it or against it (unless it doesn't pass the Senate this year). It's already passed the house by a fairly large margin. Most folks think it will pass the Senate if they actually vote on it. All of our energy should be focused on...

    Alabama Homebrew Legislation 2013

Everything has the potential to help... That being said, the "Right to Brew" folks have worked hard to get info to the Senators. The ones left that don't support it, probably aren't going to ever support it (will vote no to any evil alcohol bill). All our focus now should be getting it...
