3-in-1 "Boil Kettle, Jacketed Chiller, Conical Fermenter" by Brewha

Still brewing monthly on my medium Brewha. I love that it’s a lot less cleaning and sanitation than my old 3 kettle system. The temp control using the chiller is so much better than lifting car boys in and out of my chest freezer. Just finished a Mexican lager and my stand by IPA will be next...

Looking for a single vessel electric brewing system

Brewha rocks. Not cheap but top of the line equipment. I love my medium BIAC

What is the maximum batch size for the medium BIAC? I usually make 5-5.5% ales and currently finish with 10.5 gallons in the kegs but it seems like there is plenty of room in the BIAC for bigger batches but not sure what the max boil capacity would be without a boil over.

I would recommend the one from Nathan at Brewha. I'm currently fermenting at 60 degrees Fahrenheit with his chiller and it's about 90 in my garage. It's been over 100 here for more than a week and I could easily lager even with the high ambient temp. I only have the chiller temp at setting 2...

Yes you have to provide it. Nathan is a stand up guy and I have had no problems.

I was tempted to use my old controller and a couple other parts to save a few bucks and Nathan said it would be fine. In the end I just went with everything new from Nathan at Brewha and it works great. Yes the efficiency is lower than my old system but I am dialing the recipes to compensate. I...

I called Nathan about a longer cord and he sent me to customavrack.com and they add me a nice 40' extension cord. I think it was $89

Cmason FYI I usually have about 15 gallons of water in the mash and end up with about 10 gallons net beer. I did the same exact thing with the trub and stainless bowl on my first brew. Glad to see I'm not the only one [emoji2] Can you tell me about the motor on your grain mill? My drill works...

3-in-1 "Boil Kettle, Jacketed Chiller, Conical Fermenter" by Brewha

Update after my second brew session: I circulated during the entire boil and cooling and it sped up both heating and cooling significantly. My gravity was still below the 68% target so I think I will try rinsing the grain next time with 168 degree wort to see if it helps. I really don't want to...

3-in-1 "Boil Kettle, Jacketed Chiller, Conical Fermenter" by Brewha

I have only brewed once with my medium BIAC and loved it. On the temp I did have to calibrate the temp controller to my Thermapen using the ice water method. My boil was at 208 and I am at 300ft elevation. I decided to trust the new temp sensor and stop driving myself crazy unless the beer taste...

2 questions for BIAC owners. Does anyone use a 230v extension cord and where did you get it? I need to brew in he garage but the dryer power is inside. Would anyone be willing to share their procedure list with a new BIAC owner? My medium BIAC arrived yesterday and the stainless is heavier gauge...

Congrats OneManBrewery. My medium biac was supposed to be delivered today but the trucking company had problems so now I have to wait until next week [emoji35]

    HLT Options?

I use 10 gal ss pot from the extract days. Just barely big enough.
