Generic "Oxygen Cleaner" will cause this mineral deposit problem. I had horrible deposits on all of my equipment using the generic stuff from Walmart/Grocery store. I switched to using name brand "OxiClean Free". Problem solved. Also, it has new formula that says that it's 40% stronger...

I was able to convince my wife to get one of these for me for X-Mas at $430 a piece.... It is just not going to happen now. After you buy all of the valves, extras, etc it is out of what we can pay now. I understand that price increases happen, but this is unfortunate.

Well crap, now I am rethinking my decision. :confused:

I'm not worried about the welds... these guys know what they're doing. The T with thermowell is a good idea, but I have grown accustomed to having the dial thermometer on the front.

Guys, i am going to be ordering the triclover brewhemoth in the next few days. I am going to add a triclover ferrule to the front for a thermometer..... Is there anything else that you would recommend? Is there anything that you wish you had customized a bit?
