We'll still have a May meeting which will be May 13th at Rinn Duin. People start showing up around 7 and meeting starts at 7:30. There's always room for more people. See you there.

I should also add, this is my first trip to California. I'm born and raised in NJ. I'm jumping in the Pacific regardless but how cold will it be?
Also, I plan on bringing beer home. Any tips?
Heading to Escondido January 10th - 17th. Obviously, Stone, it's bistro, farm and brewery are all on my list. I also plan on going up to LA for a day. What else should I see and do while visiting? Both beer related and un-beer related?
Thanks in advance for the suggestions!
Hey everyone,
Ocean County Homebrewers are having a meeting tonight starting at 7:30pm at the Tipperary Pub in Lakehurst/Manchester. If anyone is interested in joining, stop by. We should be in the "Whiskey Room".
So I went to the cannery this weekend and the video confused me a bit. At one point, when John is putting in hops, it looks like he mixes a liquid with either grain or hops. What's that about? Also, is he adding hops to the mash? I apologize if this has been covered already.
Didn't end up in Burlington as SWMBO spent over $100 at Cabot on "gifts" plus Ben & Jerry's tour, a second stop at The Alchemist and then a ride out to the Warren Falls which were awesome. Finishing up dinner at the Reservoir. Food is awesome and 40+ beers on tap including BCBS Coffee and KBS...
Also, Blue Stone was great. Loved blackback's (our bar tender was from Philly) and Prohibition Pig had a great selection of beer (though, I wasn't crazy about their food).
So I missed fresh HT by an hour yesterday. In town for one more day. Anyone know of a place I can go to get 4 packs? OR does anyone have some fresh cans they'd be willing to part with?
So I got to the brewery an hour too late yesterday. Only here for one more day and can't find cans anywhere. Anyone in the area want to part with some of their fresh HT so I can bring some of this deliciousness home?
