    Old Burton IPA?

I agree that an export version would be more extreme. Also, you'll note that I decided not to go for any Brett, which was one of the things mentioned in your first post.

    Old Burton IPA?

I put lots of gypsum in this one. Those numbers are for a 10L batch.

    Old Burton IPA?

Check out the links above. But like I said, my first batch isn't ready yet. For my next attempt I will lower the FG, and set the OG based on a higher than expected attenuation.

    Old Burton IPA?

This is a project that I just started to work on. My first batch isn't ready yet, but I already know that my recipe needs to be reworked. http://www.headcutterbeer.com/first-attempt-white-label-ale/ http://www.headcutterbeer.com/white-label-ale/

    Green Bullet and Cascade

Picked up some Green Bullet hopes and wondering what to do with them. Thinking about making an APA and using GB and Cascade at a 2:1 ratio. Anyone tried combining these hops?

Nice article on how AB InBev is trying to destroy good beer for higher profits

First, Unibroue is Canadian (not sure if that matters to you). Second, I believe it was bought by Saporro.

    Briess Roast Barley

    So nobody?

    Briess Roast Barley

That's what I plan on doing. Just wondering if anybody has gone the 20% route.

    Briess Roast Barley

I note that Briess also makes black barley which is 500L.

    Briess Roast Barley

Yeah it kinda does. I used 14.4% and the beer wasn't really black and not nearly roasty enough. Also used some carapils and special roast.

    Briess Roast Barley

Made a stout with Briess roast barley and wasn't overly pleased with the result. This is partly my own fault because I didn't use enough (it's only 300L). To get a good roasty flavor I think I might need to run the % up to 20% or more. Has anybody done this and liked the results?
