Cheapest place to purchase hops ?

Did you end up brewing this? The grain bill you listed looks more like their IPA recipe than their Hazy IPA, minus the Warrior hops. Did the owner tell you the recipe in person or email you? Off the bat, I would've thought that that 13 oz dry hop additions should be 1.3 oz.

Oatmeal Stout Flapjack Breakfast Stout (Chocolate-Coffee-Oatmeal-Maple Imperial Stout)

Damn this looks good. It seems like everyone added the maple at some point in the fermentation. Has anyone added the full 16oz at kegging? Was it too sweet and how much maple flavor/aroma stayed?

    Over primed my IPA

If you don't have the fridge space you could also open and recap when they seem primed enough. It might risk a few infected beers, but I'd prefer that to bottle bombs.

Single infusion mash with under modified malt

I've always heard that Brett can digest longer chain sugars that would be unfermentable to a typical sacch yeast. For this beer, I mash at 156F to make sure that the Brett still has plenty to eat after the 3711 is done. I was hoping that using under modified malt would give me even more sugars...

Single infusion mash with under modified malt

I frequently brew a french saison with mostly pilsner malt and ferment it with Wyeast 3711 and secondary with Brett B. I was considering using Weyermann floor malted pilsner, which is slightly under modified. Do I really need to do a multi step mash since I'll be using Brett in secondary? If I...

    Sacramento area bottle shops

I have a friend in Sacramento today that offered to pick up some beer for me. I was hoping to get some Russian River, Firestone Walker, and Dogfish Head; as none of those are distributed in my area. I looked online and found a couple large liquor stores, but I was hoping to get some other...

    Brewing with coconut?

Maui Brewing makes a coconut porter that i hear is fantastic. My only concern would be how the oil in the coconut would affect head retention. Was it dried, toasted, fresh? Did you add it to the mash, boil, or the fermented? Since you already did his would just advise you to take extra care when...
