    Sam's Club hops

My local Tractor Supply has Nugget hops being sold in a box along with various berry vines. They were a bit pricy for me at $7.99 each.

    Enough Info for Water Adjustment

I was able to get partial data from my local water supplier. At some point I will probably have a full analysis done, but in the meantime I want to keep brewing. So my question is do I have enough information to make some adjustments to get me closer to ideal? I am planning to brew a few IPAs...

    Cost of grain at LHBS

Mine is on the cheap side. $0.79/lb for Rahr 2 Row $0.99/lb for Crisp Crystal is either $1.19 or $1.39/lb. And he occasionally runs sales getting base to about $0.65.

Anyone use the Inkbird ITC-106VH yet?

I purchased this ITC-106vh PID and just finished testing out my full setup. Everything seemed to work great, but I have a question about running in manual mode. I switched from PID to ON/OFF manual mode. The run light turned on and I set the duty cycle to my desired ℅. It worked for a...

    Guess who is finally kegging?!

I did a single tap on the front. Putting two on the door is tough because of dealing with the shanks and the tubing when there are two kegs in there.

    Kid Friendly, pretend homebrew kit

That's a good idea. My 3 yr old calls apple juice his beer. Instead of the soda stream maybe get a tap-a-draft. My old one worked with 3 liter soda bottles. Can pick up a cheap store brand soda, dump the soda (or drink it), wash the bottle, fill with cider and he can have his "beer" on tap.

    shank hole size too big?

I'd say it depends on what you are drilling through. If you are drilling wood, I'd just use the spade bit. If cutting metal or insulation, I think the hole saw would be preferred. But in either case, I wouldn't use a bit that over sized. Hole saws are cheap at harbor freight tool.

    Kegerator Conversion with Danby DAR440BL?

I did on tap through the door. Definitely room to do 2 if I wanted, but might need to move them a bit higher. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/my-simple-kegerator-build-339585/ The shank size I used was, I believe, 4 1/8".
