If anyone has a 14g SS Chronical BME in good shape and is looking to upgrade, please DM me as I’m looking to buy an additional. I love the first one other than I can only pressurize inly a couple pounds, it is enough for my transfers and cold crashing. preferably with heat and chill accessories...
Good point on the NEIPA’s. I probably should have mentioned that we use one of those filters from our fermenter to the keg To catch the bug stuff that may come from racking. We also have a hop spider for the kettle which catches most of the hop solids....and a screen on the pickup tube in the...
We use this filter but we actually have it for the fermenter to the keg.

ideally I’d get a chiller or build one, but I don’t have the time right now nor the funds.
Unfortunately, there isn’t room in the fridge. the Ferm if a 14G SSCronical and we use the fridge for normal “fridge” things. Trying to dual purpose the cooling effect from the fridge.
HI all,
I‘ve been thinking about a mod to my fridge so I can crash my fermenter and want to see if anyone has a though on it.
my fridge is new and full size so I’m not thrilled about cutting a hole in the side for a chiller line so here’s the idea-
if I had a small diameter tube (1/4” copper...
Has anyone tried to put a bead of a food grade sealant around the rim of the fermenter? I'm thinking like a food grade silicon or RTV or similar. Then when you screw the lid down, it would seal better. I'm thinking of getting one but haven't come to a conclusion on how to better seal it as some...
