Then they show as device type switch actuators once they are assigned to either chamber heater or chamber cooler?

BrewerJack where do you assign them to channels? Is this in a config file or within the maintenence panel somewhere?

Has anyone had issues with the switch actuators showing up? The temp sensors showed after I replaced my 4.7k resistor. It does show other devices under the device manager however they show as unknown.

Is there any reason why I couldn't use female to male dupont pins from the ssr to the arduino board? Trying to minimize the amount of soldering I have to do. I can understand needing the thicker gauge cable on the ssr to the 120v power and the power socket. Is the thicker gauge need from...

Well my other stc1000 was the version 1.1 so now I'm going to go the DIY brewpi route. Was already looking for another use for the arduino. Wanted to say thanks again to everyone for their help.

BrewerJack thanks for the info I've used the same project boxes for my stc1000 builds. What is the wattage of the 4.7K resistor? Almost picked one up at Radio Shack earlier in the week but was thrown off by this.

barrooze took your advice and heated the bottom and pushed in the pins from the front. Had a good scare when I hooked it backup and the alarm was going ( I had forgotten to hook back up the temperature probe). After adding some more solder I was in business. Thanks again for the advice...
