Here's my plan. I have the brackets welded to the sides with bolts going through bi figure with this isometric it should lay flat when raised. It may work?

Just wanted to let everyone know that the long slits held up great. No warping, really great flow rate too. I don't see a need to make any additional cuts. Super easy to clean and it never came out of the bulkhead. Cheers!

I'm relatively new to all this. Whats a good order to cleaning my equipment? Wash, scrub, sanitize? What are good products, or cleaners in the house I can use?
The female adapter goes on the nipple coming through the cooler and then the 45 street elbow goes right into that. From there you will need a short piece of 1/2" cpvc to the t.
I will definitely not be storing the chiller with star san in it. I'll just wash really well on brew day and sterilize with boiling water. I figure I can use a compressor and blown air to get any moisture out of it when I store it. Thanks everybody. As you can tell I'm a total newbie.
I believe wal-mart has them in the camping section for coleman gas lanterns. we use to by them when we were building potato canons. They were the twist (flick). On second thought they may have used a flint. Either way it will definitely make a spark to start a fire.
