    making nettle beer

I have just started my first wild nettle beer. About 2kg of wild nettles boiled to a pulp and strained. Fresh squeezed orange, lemon and lime. Teaspoon of cinnamon. Half a kg of brew sugar and two tablespoons dme. Made about 13 litres. Anyone any ideas if this will work out?

    my first bottled ale

It does look like a stout of sorts I know....but it tastes like a sweet light ale...weird but lovely....im pleased. Wish I could post a full recipe. Wilkinsons Sweet Newkie Brown kit from Wilkinsons Store UK. Sorry I can't be more help.

    my first bottled ale

It is a kit....fermented with brewing sugar and primed with dme. Im very new to this but quite proud of this one. When I used the same procedure and used a barrel it came out red! The kit was sweet newkie brown. I am yet to experiment starting from scratch. Im hoping to learn from these kits.

    have added berries

I thought it fermented too fast maybe...but the amount of sugar could be right. Smells fine. Im going to barrel it...may just do two bottles to compare. I used a basic bitter kit. Other people seemed to use the same technique.

    have added berries

I have just began brewing and on my fourth batch. I boiled a mix of raspberry, red currant, blackberry and strawberry with my sugar before fermenting. It has leaked out of the fermentor! All still appears fine...a bit more cloudy than usual but still bubbling. Any ideas why this would have...
